Residential Options
Living apart from parents and family is made possible through supportive options serving individuals along the autism spectrum, including Asperger’s Syndrome and other developmental delays. Families have the flexibility to choose the type of residential setting for their adult child.
Families choose the setting with the assistance of a Spruce Point Coordinator. At Spruce Point, families work may work with a real estate agent familiar with the residential needs of adults with autism and other disabilities or they can choose. Families also choose to purchase a home, share the purchase of a home with another family or families or decide to rent.
Spruce Point provides guidance with adapting the living space for use by residents on the autism spectrum and residents with developmental disabilities. Supportive services are then tailored to each resident.
